What We Do

Group of friends using a telescope outdoors during dusk, with three looking through or near it, and one looking through the telescope with a hand on it.

Equipment

We place science equipment where people can use it, at home and in community spaces.

Training

We teach in plain, practical ways, with room for beginners and returners.

Local Partnerships

We work with local organizations to host, support, and deliver programs in real settings.

Our Story

We focus on science as a whole. Our flagship program, Stellar Dreams, puts equipment and training into practice through astronomy.

Stellar Dreams

Stellar Dreams provides telescopes and astronomy learning for people of all ages, with training that helps participants use what they receive.

Our program is built around access and follow-through. Participants receive a telescope and practical instruction on setup and use, plus observing activities that build skills over time.

We reduce barriers so more people can take part.

Ingenuity

We find innovative ways to make science learning possible and keep improving how we deliver.

Stewardship

We take responsibility for the future of science by putting resources to work in communities.

Engagement

We build programs that help people stay involved and keep learning.
